John not cool with politicians

John Abraham has been associated with the Mumbai Marathon for 10 years now. Understandably, the actor is very passionate about the yearly event and does not appreciate anything that he feels brings a bad name to it.

Recently, when the actor was asked to point out one thing about the marathon that he does not appreciate, he promptly replied, "I hate the fact that politicians crowd the stage to give away the medals. There are so many of them I am afraid the stage may crack." But there are things that he loves about the marathon. John was all praise for the physically challenged people who participate in the event every year. He says that while normal people find all sorts of excuses to avoid running, the spirit and enthusiasm shown by the physically challenged is an inspiration for others.

The actor inaugurated the event on Sunday where Vivek Oberoi, Rahul Bose, Juhi Chawla and Sharman Joshi were also spotted.
