Anushka is overrated in this forum due to BBB. I didnt find her all that great even in that movie. She only got attention as she was the first non-star kid newcomer launched by YRF opposite SRK himself in a Adi Chopra film.

During those days YRF or SRK never worked with rank newcomers. So she got a LOT of hype and that stayed on due to her 3 film deal with YRF. BBB only added on to the hype.

But she has limited range as an actress and is not even a looker. Doing only bubbly roles only made it worse as Parineeti is better in those and now she is bagging those bubbly roles. Anushka needs to chose her roles with care. Hirani films rarely work for the actress so I am sure she doesnt have much to do in Peekay. I hope she has something substantial in Bombay Velvet otherwise she wont even survive as long as Sonakshi.

Anushka has been doing the same role again n again which is getting boring. i watched JTHJ and MKBKM only for her and on both ocassions she has been epic fail. lets hope in her next project most probably PK 😕 she does sumthing different and phir se peeke kam na kare 😆
