i am so excited to see these 4 together

and agree about bebo- she has totally transformed now- i doubt she gives 2 cents about duggu now- she was just a teenager when she did her first movie with HR- of course you get crushes at that age, it was totally normal!

I dont even think the script is completed. But I watched DCH again today wtih my ex-roomies and OMG...what a classic!

'NOT DOING ZOYA'S FILM'

Ranbir Kapoor denies signing Zoya Akhtar's next film with Katrina Kaif; says the writer-director has not offered him the role

From page 1 It doesn't take a lot for Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif to make headlines. The actors first began denying rumours of a link-up when they were working together on Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani (2009). Soon after, the buzz faded away. But news of the two being spotted roaming the streets of New York (see box) has got the rumour mills working overtime all over again. More so, because this comes after a report claimed that Ranbir and Katrina had apparently been signed for Zoya Akhtar's next film. According to speculators, the untitled project revolves around Ranbir and Kareena Kapoor's familial bond and also stars Hrithik Roshan and Katrina in major roles.

However, on being contacted, the media-shy Ranbir clears the air on all the speculations. Flatly denying the news of being cast opposite Katrina in Zoya's next, he says, "It is completely false news that I am doing the film." He adds, "Zoya's film hasn't been finalised yet. She's not even formally offered me the film. We meet as friends and she keeps saying that she's writing something. I guess I can only talk about it once she finalises everything."

Meanwhile, Ranbir has his hands full with Abhinav Singh Kashyap's Besharam, which he is currently shooting for. It will be followed by Anurag Kashyap's Bombay Velvet and another film that will be directed by Imtiaz Ali.

As of now, Ranbir is excited about sharing the stage with his mother, Neetu Singh, at the Colors Screen Awards that will be held in the city this week. They will perform to the classic numbers, 'Parda hai parda' and 'Ek main aur ek tu' to mark the Indian film industry's centenary. "She (Neetu) is nervous. We haven't started rehearsing for the event yet," says Ranbir.

Well yeah, Kareena's said the same thing.
But both siblings have ALSO SAID that Zoya has talked to them about it, and whenever she brings the script, they'd love to work with her.

Actors dont give out confirmations until everything is finalized. All the formalities have to be taken care of - dates, fees, etc.

I mean, I still remember Prakash Jha denying Kareena's inclusion in Satyagraha literally a WEEK before she was confirmed.

Film folks dont like to make any official claims until everything's worked out.

I think so far, everything's just in the works and Zoya possibly has had talks with actors, but we have to await for the script to be done.

This movie from the beginning was rumored to star ranbir and kareena. Kareena confirmed that zoya has talked to her about it. But ranbir never said a word about it till now.

I don't now from where hrithik and katrina's name came into the project. Can say for a fact that the katrina rumor is indeed not true.

Ranbir is not doing this movie. He is currently shooting for Besharam after that he will start work on bombay velvet. Then he has to gain 10-12 kg. for kishor kumar biopic opposite katrina and that movie takes lots of preparation and hence can't do this zoya movie now. Zoya movie can first happen after the biopic and that means in 2015 or 2016. If zoya can wait for ranbir then it will happen or else she will cast someone else opposite kareena.
