Naseer's cameo was scrapped
in Special Chabbis

Pandey has once
again cast
Jimmy Shergill
and Anupam
Kher for his
upcoming
release- Special Chabbis. The duo
was seen in Pandey's earlier film
A Wednesday where they played
pivotal roles. Interestingly,
Neeraj also had veteran actor
Naseeruddin Shah in mind for
his latest venture that stars
Akshay Kumar and Kajal
Aggrawal in the lead.

appreciated by critics and
audiences. And this time too,
Neeraj wanted Naseer to be a
part of Special Chabbis but
things could not work out.
"Naseeruddin Shah was
supposed to be a part of my film
but he had other commitments,
so we had to scrap his
character. He was supposed to
play a cameo in my film but it did
not work out. So we did away
with his role altogether", says
Neeraj.
Like A Wednesday, Special
Chabbis too has mostly male
actors but this is not something
Neeraj Pandey does consciously.
"It happened by chance and was
not intentional. My first was a
love story which no one wanted
to produce. It's like the chicken
and egg debate. I don't write my
story and then cast actors nor
do I keep actors in mind and
then write my story. Things just
happen".
