The purpose is to discuss and give your views on what you prefer but not to call a certain genre Brainless and other ones for intelligent people.

I said because if quality mattered then why didn't Munnabhai MBBS do some significant business abroad? Why was CDI lower than other conventional SRK films despite being a brilliant film?

Also, if quality is criteria how did Akshay's Singh is Kinng strike big overseas? (I think it did well due to Akki-Kat and the mainstream hero playing sardar)

Akshay Kumar suddenly rose up the ranks in overseas market from 2007. Did films like Namaste London and playing NRI help his rise abroad?

i think abroad and even in india the general population doesnt look into these things they want entertainment..and movies that preach too much dont click abroad either, but emotional movies movies that are close to your heart work

namaste london worked because one could connect with the story

Another thing cinema is made to entertain but not to use your brains to solve any equation.

Majority of overseas cinema chains define bollywood as masala cinema.

And that's what made bollywood what it is today

quality with bollywood touch thats the most thing they are looking for and thats why most of the massala film fail or became average and the food wom in india help too much to make the people in overseas go and watch the film in overseas they read too much just like hollywood but in india totally different case

me and my mates watched Rowdy Rathore and found it very entertaining and well worth the money. All of us are students at Uni either studying law, arts, science, engineering or management. I guess we're all dumb and illiterate

Brainless or mindless? It's a subjective matter. Coz Housefull 2 did better than Agneepath overseas

Dabangg 2 and Bol Bachchan also did really well this year which you would call mindless ? Explain? Oh and the mega ETT too.

Explain. Oh and JTHJ had a very intelligent too i guess.

Not every thing that has script is gold or every thing you might call Brainless is rubbish.

agneepath got a 18plus certificate in uk due to huge violence
