Also, if quality is criteria how did Akshay's Singh is Kinng strike big overseas? (I think it did well due to Akki-Kat and the mainstream hero playing sardar)

Akshay Kumar suddenly rose up the ranks in overseas market from 2007. Did films like Namaste London and playing NRI help his rise abroad?

Kahaani wasn't a big one yet it did well overseas.

I'm kindly throwing a debate about how specific movie choices make people intelligent

It's quite sad to put class on movies.

Many lawyers, doctors, teachers were sitting through masala like Dabangg, RR, D2, BB etc, and they were thoroughly enjoying it. It's just some people that thinks films are made educate or give social awareness messages.
