Why has SRK not given any record setting film?

SRK has record setting consistency atleast. Which is more than enough! Better to be a SRK who remains relevant 20 years after getting into Bollywood than a Sunny Deol who gave the biggest hit ever and yet no one cares for him today.

Ditto. SRK"s record is his consistency. Who's the last superstar who consistently gave hits for 20 years?

Anyways, SRK doesn't need to chase records. He needs to follow quality with good scripts. Records/BO success will automatically follow.

SRK had a monopoly for so long, that itself is a record in itself isn't it? He ruled BO from 94-2010, just bcoz some of his recent films haven't touched the 200 crore mark doesn't mean he hasn't given any record breaking films! Bollywood is a rat's race, when one goes to the top other has to eventually fall down but that doesn't mean srk is out of the rat's race, he is still giving a tough competition to his contemporaries, thats ok if he is behind by an inch or so he'l soon cover it up😆

Well yeah in recent past SRK hasn't done any record breaking movies crossing 200+ cores or so. But he has been the most consistent actor around for more than a decade and I feel that counts much more.

And I like the fact that, this guy has the urge to experiment and try out different roles, yes some pay off like Darr, or even Chak De and some doesn't like Ra.one.But that happens right.

All these years SRK has touched million hearts worldwide, and I'm sure he will do the same in the coming years too.

Yes this is definitely not the best phase of SRK's careers but everybody has their own share of up and downs, and if SRK manages to give hits even at his career's low phase that's really good, right?

Having said all that, i do wish SRK's script sense improves in the future.
