After listening to his performance at the Royal Albert Hall in London Abida Parveen could not hide her feelings. 'At present there is no one in India or Pakistan to out skill Sonu Nigam in musical knowledge and performance' said an excited Abidaji. When asked about his response to Abeedaji's comment the down to earth singer replied, 'When these kinds of words come from greatest singers like Abidaji it is often a humbling experience. But I personally feel that there is no end to music and I am still a learner. I know my strengths and weaknesses .So I am striving to boost my strengths and overcome my weaknesses'. Sonu who was attending a musical program in Royal Albert Hall, London met Abeeda Parveen and the famous Pakistani band Junoon at the program venue. They all were a part of the same musical program. Sonu Nigam who started his singing career at a very tender age got his first break with 'Acha Sila Diya Tumne' from 'Bewafa Sanam'. From that day onwards he turned everything he touched to super hit numbers with his golden voice. Of late most of his tracks have got great acclamation from both fans and critics. |
