Kareena waits for appreciation
Kareena Kapoor has just returned from her US tour. She is back not
for shooting but for celebrating the success of her '36 China Town'
and secondly, for acknowledging praises on her acting in 'Chup
Chupke'. She wonders if the viewers would not admire her acting as a
dumb girl in 'Chup Chupke' like they did for Rani Mukherjee's
character of a blind girl in Sanjay Leela's Bhansali's 'Black'.
Abhishek admires SRK, Preity
Karan Johar's 'Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna' is Abhishek's third movie with
his Papa. He says he has learnt acting from his parents, and
considers relationship as vital in one's life. This has been amply
expressed in 'KANK'. Regarding the movie, he says, " I play Rishi
and Rani plays Maya, my wife while Shah Rukh Khan and Preity Zinta
play Dev and Riya, husband and wife, respectively. The movie takes a
turn when Dev and Rani fall for each other. Abhishek is all praise
for both Shah Rukh and Preity though he has worked with them for the
first time in this movie. " I always looked forward to work with
Shah Rukh, and have learnt a lot from him. The industry has rightly
called him 'Badshah (king)'. He gives cent percent marks to Preity
too. She is very serious during the shoot and very bubbly soon
after. I am acting with her in 'Jhoom Barabar Jhoom'. When asked
about Rakeysh Mehra's 'Delhi 6', he said that this is an interesting
movie on the city of Delhi, the Capital of India. Its shooting will
start soon after its casting is completed, he adds.
Kangana's on screen romance
'Gangster's heroine Kangana Ranaut is in the news for her onscreen
romance. This is to recall that the nineteen-year young girl from
Manali is the discovery of writer - director - producer Mahesh
Bhatt. The girl has thrown a challenge to her mentor this time by
offering to act in his coveted movie titled 'Lamhe'. 'Lamhe' is
based on the life of late Parveen Babi and Kangana has played the
character of Parveen in the movie.
Upen Patel turns hot property
Upen Patel who last acted in '36 China Town' has created a crisis
for Dr Neeraj Dubey! You may recall that Upen Patel who played the
character of Rocky in ' 36 China Town' had given a mobile number
9820420420 to girls in the movie. Interestingly, the number belongs
to Dr Neeraj Dubey. So, he has been getting thousand of calls from
girls on his mobile. Learning about it, Subhash Ghai wonders that if
he signs Upen for ten movies, he will have the fortune. Isn't Upen a
hot property?
Why no honor for Dharmendra?
He-man of Punjab Dharmender doesn't regret that he has never got an
award or an honor despite his umpteen number of good performance in
Bollywood. This is indeed amazing that no institution has ever
though of honoring Dharmender for his excellent contribution to the
film industry.

Bollywood's mokamboo Amrish Puri is no more. He worked until his
last in his 'Tamasha'. Though the movie was not completed in his
lifetime, yet its director Hayat Asif says that Puri has completed
it with the help of a duplicate. In fact, Amrish Puri had almost
finished 90 per cent of the shooting before his death. Asif adds
that 'Tamasha' will be releasing soon as a tribute to Amrish Puri.
Speaking about it, Asif informs that it had Amrish Puri's both
shades. In the movie, Amrish hates young girls following the
occurrence of an incident in his life. But he turns positive later
by changing his heart.
