Ra.One was released on Same Scale as ETT on 3100 Screens... 1st day of Ra.One was 15 Cr (Hindi).

Even if Double the Screens Size is there... 1500 vs 3100 Screens... Still on 15.08.2012, Ramzaan was going on, No Muslim Audience.

Lot's of things matter, If Increasing Screen Size could give u High Numbers than Ra.One would have made 40 Cr on Day 1.

Aish. I was merely giving an example. You can name all the movies that have been released int he last year or so. Singham, JTHJ, Don 2, etc..

Doing less films is not a Class thing, 3 Idiots won't be No.1 movie if the Mass audience won't have supported it, only Class Audience can't make film this much big hit crossing 200 Cr.

HRithik after having super duper succesfull 2006 he turned up after 1 year with JA he cud easily do a krrish or DHoom kinda movie to extend his run...

ra 1 was a failed product a marketing gimmick it has raised his ticket prices to its budget so forget that

so ut saying ETT and 3i has the same kinda ticket prices

so if the ticket is 20pc more for ETT with 3500 screens with salman khan it will surely crosss 30cr

Im sorry but akshay's 4 hits in the year 2007 were merely hits. Maybe one blobuster. But that's about it. Salman's last 4 films have been MAMMOTH hits. At least blobusters. And two all time blockbusters. That's mind-boggling stuff. And another potential all time blockbuster is just around the corner.

Lot's of ppl here say that Salman can't give a Offbeat Movie a HIT or that much Big...

i would like to ask Aamir Khan did Dhobi Ghat, was it 200 + Cr film? Was it that much big as Ghajini or 3 Idiots were??

Aamir, Srk, Hrithik with Guzaarish have tried in OffBeat kind of cinema, Everybody failed to big extent, so don't gave this kind of target for Salman also.

That Genre works only on DVD not in Cinema Halls.

Really who made this such term CLASS AND MASS???

No one shoudl judge people by what they watch. My family's been in NZ for years!!! And we enjoy all Masala films. Does that make me a lower standard???

Infact Maine Pyar Kiya was 1st hindi film to do well overseas. And Hum Aapke Hain Kaun was first hindi film to get an All Tim Blockbuster overseas. Finally!!! Just coz Bodyguard, ETT and Dabangg worked overseas, that means more people have migrated to overseas from lower to middle class families in India?

Really this whole Mass Vs Class ranking is stupid. Most films are made to entertain. It might have it's specific targeted audience but you cannot judge a film by who watches it. Films made for all, it may depend which and where it works.

What's wrong with you man? by time everything increases, i am saying the same thing, today petrol is 72 rs./liter, later it will 80 or 85/liter... so what's so fussy about it??

I will say if HAHK releases now, it will even make more than any other film...

Forget ETT, even if any other film would have broken 3I record, dn also same thing applies on it. whatever film comes afterwards has some advantage.

Yeah the class mass classification is disgusting and revolting. I make very little money but i like to watch movies in high end multiplex. Does that make me a class or mass? Like, W*F.
