Actor Ajay Devgn is a proud producer today. Though his company Ajay Devgn Ffilms has lost the battle with Yash Raj Films, the SOS actor and his film's producers have enough reason to smile. Devgn's latest rom-com is running neck-to-neck with Shahrukh Khan's JTHJ, what with the later going strong at multiplexes all over, while the former leads at several single screens in Mumbai and other metropolitan cities.

The magic of SOS is certainly not limited to Mumbai and India alone. What we hear is that in Pakistan the film has managed to draw $42,000 on first day itself, a working day. The highly excited Sonakshi Sinha couldn't resist expressing her feelings on a social networking site: "Good news folks! In spite of having only 2000 screens SOS has collected 10.72 crore nett on the first day of its release and is only expected to pick up more due to word of mouth and amazing response to the film. If some trade experts are to be believed, SOS is considered to be better than some Devgn starrers released in the past in the overseas market, but the movie's clash with JTHJ has hit it hard as far as box office collections are concerned. After all, who can beat Bollywood Baadshah Shahrukh Khan with the NRI audiences!
