Okay, I don't want to get into the debate, but since when does a film's verdict say how good the film actually was? Yash Chopra won National Film Awards for VZ/DTPH/Chandni in the "Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment," category and have won several Filmfare awards. And we are comparing him to Arbaaz, who's directing for the first time with Dabangg 2?

YC is great, no need to put him down, and none of his movies reaching ATBB doesn't take away his talent. But I'd also like to point out that it's too early to judge Arbaaz, but please.. do we really think he'll be better than the experienced Yash ji?

Well at first place this thread wasnt about his movies till karaan started it.

Also, 50 years and yet not fully fledge Blockbuster. Blockbuster tag is given by overall public. Not the certain group of fans or media. That tag shows how much people liked his movie. Some people actually believe DDLJ was Yash Chopra's movie.

Awards also don't make a movie, a good movie. Because that too is a subjective matter as less people decide on who should receive them and knowing Bollywood and how rigged they are with Awards. Most actors has no hopes from it because they know the dirty truth behind it.

My post wasn't about SRK vs. Salman, it was about YC vs. Arbaaz, and you undermining YC's talent. Why bring MNIK and Dabangg into it? If Dabangg won, good. I personally don't like the movie, but I actually like Salman as much as I like SRK so really, that does nothing to me. 😛

Yes. A film's verdict and the film winning awards, both, says nothing about the director's talent. I brought in a subjective matter, because you also brought in a subjective matter.

Okay!! For the final time before you throw another false claim. Go back to page 2. Where Karan brought in by taking digs at Salman. When this article was about SRK

Umm this started off with Challa topic - which is a SRK song. Later Karan bringing in Salman then which later turned into a movie convo. Which too started off by Karaan.

Now get your facts right.

Also huge amount of money is only earned if audiences enjoyed the movie. Look at Ra.one which was just a hit ( with overseas collections help). If people like it so much why didn't become blockbuster. We are looking at majorities views not just yours

I never compared the directional skills. I even said it myself that YC is a legend in film making area.
