Stardust: Did you hv to change the script too much after Aish Rai bachchan
opted out?
Madhur : We didnt change anythng at all.
But Madhur clearly said earlier the reason why he replaced Arunoday singh
with Randeep Hooda after Ash left was because he changed the script.
You know with this movie no one knows the truth anymore.
From the budget to the salaries to the casting everything is a unholy mess
and it showed in the dismal boxoffice result. So much lies have been told.
The movie is a hotch potch with the director thinking if he can show
Kareena in every frame and shedding most of her clothes it will
become a blockbuster. Unfortunately like earlier Kurbaan showed,
titillating audience is not enough to make a movie a hit. After all
Kurbaan had the lead kissing and doing lovemaking scenes scantily
clad in bed. If that couldnt interest the audience why would a poorly
made Heroine film do so?
If he had had Ash or Katrina in the lead, they would hv drawn in audiences
for curiosity value at least and made the box office figures a bit higher.
Now Madhur will hv distributor problems for his movies and so will
Karan Johar for his Puneet directed movie with Kareena. unless he
is distributing himself.
No one wants to lose crores.

what i had heard from an insider...there were three scenes kareena simply said no to - 1) a stripping scene in a party 2) a masturbation scene 3) lovemaking scene with all the actors including that Television actor - Manish Raisinghania, of course why would a big star like kareena ready to make love onscreen with an unpopular tv actor. But according to me Manish is a hottie 😳

If at all it's anyone worth commending, it's Kareena.

the best thing she could do is to say no...didn't she realise herself she is doing a reminiscent of fashion and page 3 😕

This makes me LOL especially after watching the movie. Could Ash have been able to create the same chemistry Kareena did with Randeep and Arjun NO WAY infact Randeeps role would be played by that loser forgot his name and she would have looked like his MOM yes really. She couldn't have perfected the scenes the way Kareena hell to the no besides she sucks at breaking down scenes. Plus Kareena has looked her glamorous best in this movie which would've been impossible for Ash.

Why should she say NO? She's a professional actor who was offered a movie. Yes, the script turned out to be flawed. If not Kareena, it would have been someone else. What difference does it make?

The point is, whoever would have acted in movie - would she do justice to the given ROLE of Mahi Arora? So yes, speaking of Kareena, she did complete justice to HER ROLE in the movie. I agree that someone else could have done it better. So what?! What difference does it make now that the movie is released and people are appreciating her for that.

I am not even a fan of Kareena. I always thought she overacted in most of her movies. Post Chameli/Dev, she'd declined (in my opinion). But to my surprise (and to the many who held the same opinion as I did), she did exceptionally well in her role as an arrogant, self-absorbed, psycho patient suffering from a split-personality disorder. On the sets and in her professional life, she portrayed herself as this in-demand, indispensable industry requirement, and in her personal space, she was a heartbroken, lonely girl. She played her part with much conviction. What else do you want?

Sorry, Kareena. I am not still not a fan of yours. But babe, you did really well as Mahi Arora in Heroine! You deserve an award. 👏

Are you sure you accidentally read it as that, or are you using your own wild imagination to make your point under the pretext of an erroneous reading? 😉

actually from what i get from reviews and discussions
there was too much kareena and not much script or story in Heroine.
Thats why it flopped.
There is only just so much the audience can take.
Madhur definitely regrets this and his next will be better.
