Aishwarya is not a good actress although she's Internationally well known. Kareena's a better actress than her any day for me. Can't comment much on the movie cuz I haven't watched it

Many directors, actors are upset with bhandarkar too for some reasons .
Kareena has always been on edgy sides. Her workingg in ramleela with bhansali cudnt materialise.
But she is expected to do dhamaka with an item song in dabaang 2

i don't think her Item song in Dabang will create any Dhamaka. . . Because her recently Halkat jawani could not do that better as item songs of other actresses have done. I still get to listen Jalewi bai[while it has a B grade lady Mallika] but rarely Halkat jawani while it has Kareena Kapoor.

Yes I agree, Ash took the movie to Cannes one can imagine where she might have taken if film was completed with her, but I am glad she did not do this coz the movie was a such a mess and bore of a film.

And at the end of the day, movie is trashed by critics and flopped badly so no loss.

Provoked came and went? and no one even noticed? The movie got FREAKING screening at the biggest film festival in the world called Cannes , where the movie got standing ovation and western critics going ga ga over Aishwarya's excellent act.

And Raincoat is a national award winning film, that says allot and so is Chokher Bali. I don't remember anything similar to Kareena's dev or Chemeli. 😛😛

its supposed to be on munni badnam hui standards. Songs in fashion were much better.

Bebo's pairing with saif is also a damp squib on screen as well as off screen. Some of her fans didnt like her getting involved with a man with such big children . Her star power is ready to face a jolt from katrina. Even though katrina stands no where in acting but she has two more Yashraj films coming up plus dostana with Kjo next year and in addition a movie with UTV, n TIps films too ahead

This is the usual story. If a film does well...every thing in the universe seems to conspire to make it work. When it doesnt its just the opposite whatever seemed to be in the film's favor also seems to be against it. But yes I do agree on vinaash kaale vipreet buddhi when it comes to Madhur...not with respect to dropping Ash...but because he got everything right till the film released but forgot to put a script in the film. So whether Ash or Kareena the result would of the film would have been the same.

We definitely think that Madhur Bhandarkar's leading lady has every rhyme and reason to feel that way!

Never mind that film fans preferred to watch Ranbir Kapoor's Barfi! over Kareena Kapoor's Heroine, and that the lady's younger cousin's movie is making more moolah at the box office than her own film. The leading lady of the clichd and crass not-so-successful story has moved on to happier times.

Soon after her long-awaited wedding to beau Saif Ali Khan, Bebo Begum – last reported that they will have a court marriage, followed by a reception party at Pataudi House on October 18 – will get back to the studios with Punit Malhotra's film, co-starring Imran Khan. Like Ek Main Ekk Tu, Dharma Productions will produce the Immie-Bebo love story. Remember we told you about the project a while ago?

And we have the reigning queen's confirmation on that. "After Heroine I wanted to do a film which is good fun and carries a light-hearted feel," said Bebo in an interview. She added, "As for Punit, he makes much more conventional movies with songs, dances and all. That should be good fun."

Good for her, but is the to-be begum's choice of words an indirect taunt about Madhur Bhandarkar's high-on–drama Heroine. Kareena's intense emotions were the only watchable thing in the plot, yet her histrionics didn't help set the cash registers ringing at cinema halls.

Maybe Bebo is unhappy doing Heroine, or maybe it's a forgotten memory, but we are just letting our naughty evil minds run amok!

I feel with Ash there wuld have been a lil more curosity for ppl to watch cz for her career graph it would have been the boldest role...like smoking, intimate scenes...I havent seen her do all this stuff atleast...so mayb ppl wuld have been curious to see it

cz with Bebo...its NOT the boldest role she has ever played...I found Chameli
more bold...bt sayin dat I do feel once the script is bad...its NOT like much can b done to save the film

So Bebo acted well n did wat was told her to do

Ash wuld have prob done the same too 😊

LOOK how much of a big star kareena is...made only 1 CRORE...ON SECOND FRIDAY...it doesn't look good on especially a person who proclaims herself to be no.1 star or actress duh

Heroine started witnessing considerable drops ever since last Friday. The movie made a small 1 Crore on it's 2nd Friday, 1.20 Crores on Saturday and an approx 1.40 Crores on Sunday. Madhur Bhandarkar's much hyped project Heroine could make only 3.60 Crores on it's 2nd weekend at the domestic box office.

The Kareena Kapoor starrer now stands at a domestic box office total of 40.10 Crores. Also another 9 Crores at the overseas box office brings up its worldwide box office total to 49.10 Crores.

From the looks of it the movie won't last more than a week at the box office. A lifetime collection of 43-44 Crores is the best the movie can achieve in India.

The makers of the movie will not be in a loss via this venture but the distributors sure will. After the huge publicity and the hype that ensued it was only expected that Heroinewould be a super-hit. However, the masses seemed to not like the movie to that extent and showed their finger down.

Better luck with an "ORIGINAL" story next time Madhur.

Exactly Nitu, even my post was not a post , but on an article perspective. Have written reviews too for mgazines.. and the maximum reportage for heroine has been dissapointing sadly.

Bebo has lost it. She denied a Balaji telefilms film just because the costar was emraan hashmi. Priyanka, rani, katrina all will work with mr hashmi in future. he is a rising star. although an underdog. Dont know how long will Kjo support her.Kjo past frends like preity, rani are no longer seen in his movies. he has been loyal to kajol at the most. That puneet film will be the last Dharma productions film of kareena for a long duration it seems
