Yes Heroine should have made twice its budget to be called a hit, which is 72CR, which it surely cant make, so FLOP. Both critically commercially and even from the audience.

aish suited the role because she looks like a born star.

She herself wen playing serious roles also , still she looks as a heroine.

more than the character.

So she was best suited, while kareena has a face that can be used in omkara or geet in jab we met to a simple pakistani girl in refugee to a posessive wife in Golmaal. She looks like a common beautiful girl.

But aishwarya represents a HEROINE stature in her expressions, body language. she doesnt has that common girl feel like kareena has.

thats just my Point of view

Aishwarya have this aura around her which Kareena completely lacks, I think this movie needed a Heroine quality for which Ash was apt choice. But after watching the movie Madhur captured less of stardom and more of Mahi weeping, so yeah!

But if anyone represent Heroine stature in todays time then its Ash, and that also my point of view. 😊 she look like a STAR from each and every way possible.

Kareena did whatever she could man. She did more than what was required. Warna itni phateechar script mein to Rkahi Sawant bhi kaam na kare!

If at all it's anyone worth commending, it's Kareena.

she says now tht she couldn't do heroine by the time it was offered becoz she was busy with other films...but i have clearly seen a video interview of hers where she said she is not doing the movie becoz of script problems..she got the script altered from madhur but look what the disaster it became...

Coming to Ash, i think she would have performed a bit better than kareena. although kareena is better than as an actress but ash could have suited this role more.

Kareena is still way better then Ashwariya Rai.

I find Ash to be cold and she is so dull on screen.

Kareena has the spark which Ash lacks. My POV.

Stardust: Did you hv to change the script too much after Aish Rai bachchan

opted out?

Madhur : We didnt change anythng at all.

But Madhur clearly said earlier the reason why he replaced Arunoday singh

with Randeep Hooda after Ash left was because he changed the script.

You know with this movie no one knows the truth anymore.

From the budget to the salaries to the casting everything is a unholy mess

and it showed in the dismal boxoffice result. So much lies have been told.

The movie is a hotch potch with the director thinking if he can show

Kareena in every frame and shedding most of her clothes it will

become a blockbuster. Unfortunately like earlier Kurbaan showed,

titillating audience is not enough to make a movie a hit. After all

Kurbaan had the lead kissing and doing lovemaking scenes scantily

clad in bed. If that couldnt interest the audience why would a poorly

made Heroine film do so?

If he had had Ash or Katrina in the lead, they would hv drawn in audiences

for curiosity value at least and made the box office figures a bit higher.

Now Madhur will hv distributor problems for his movies and so will

Karan Johar for his Puneet directed movie with Kareena. unless he

is distributing himself.

No one wants to lose crores.
