The filmmaker is currently busy working on his adaptation of the novel. The film is expected to go on floors late next year

by then, Ash will come up with new excuses to leave it when she feels there is nothing strong to do in it...

Do a reverse-gender version of the story with Abhishek as the newly married husband of Ash whose first husband was Big B. Then Jaya would be perfect as the creepy housekeeper. Rekha can do a cameo as the other lover of Big B (aka the male Rebecca).
