okay, what's wrong with the view count for this song? Why doesn't it increase when I refresh the page? Even yesterday the views were stuck at 301 for a long time and the likes went beyond 2000! Is there some technical glitch? 🤔

Check out romantic SRK in 'Challa' song of Jab Tak Hai Jaan

Shah Rukh Khan is back with a bang! And it feels like not many years have passed since Shah Rukh took up a mandolin and played the tunes of Tujhe Dekha toh Ye Jana Sanam in the 1995 blockbuster Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge.

The first song of the much-awaited Yash Chopra film 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan' is out, and SRK looks dapper in the video. Donning a black wind cheater and a casual checked shirt paired with jeans, he is doing what he does best – playing the romantic hero.

The video of the song 'Challa' shows SRK strumming his guitar, playfully head banging with kids and looking shiny, happy and in love!

'Challa' — a complete Punjabi song, has been sung by Rabbi Shergil of Bulla Ki Jaana fame. The lyrics of the song have been written by Gulzar and AR Rahman's music is magical as ever.

Yash Chopra on the occasion of his 80th birthday, told Shah Rukh Khan, "This is my favourite song and it is your song in the film. It is the soul of the film – you belong to everybody but nobody is yours. This song is in Punjabi language and it has been sung beautifully by Rabbi Shergill. Gulzar Saheb has written the lovely lyrics. He has given words to my vision. Working with AR Rahman and Gulzar, is like working with magicians."

It is indeed a treat to watch Shah Rukh in a romantic hero avatar after so long. As the song draws to an end, we see the lead pair come together. Katrina Kaif appears in the video and makes a donation to a box Shah Rukh seemed to have placed on the street.

The film, also starring Anushka Sharma, is scheduled for a Diwali release on 13 November, 2012.

The first song 'Challa' from SRK starrer JAB TAK HAI JAAN is out

The much awaited release of the music from JAB TAK HAI JAAN starts today with the release of the first song from the album, 'Challa'.

Starring Shahrukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma, the film has also brought together the award winning pair of A. R. Rahman and Gulzar, who orchestrated by Yash Chopra, have created some wonderful music for this romantic film.
