When I first heard it, I didn't like the song..was fairly disappointed. But trust me, 3 hearings is all it takes to love the song. Its really a case of 3rd time's the charm.

There are Rahman songs like Dil Se Re, Kehna hi Kya, Chaiyya Chaiyya from the 90's that you fall in love with instantly...and then there are Rahman songs like Challa that will grow on you slowly slowly and then you really start liking them.

The Punjabi lyrics are difficult to understand at first but on repeat hearings they become clearer too...
