The only problem in the movie was it was made out to be complete Khichri. The transitions were not smooth. It was overwhelming But Kareena gave great performance n that's what made it bearable - one time watch

oh... it wasn't successful?

I dunno, I watched it last night and to me, the film felt incomplete...there was something missing. I think the character should have gone to greater lengths to save her career (which we all know the types of extreme things they can do). In a way, it wasn't too realistic...very few actresses would say no to sleeping with the hero these days...

It was just weird how they wanted to show mahi in a good light but then they also say she is bipolar, abuses alcohol, drugs, etc. etc.

The character wasn't developed as well as it should have been...like the writers were confused about who the character was supposed to be...

by the way, do we know whose lives the film was based on?

Perhaps they based it on too many people which created the confusion. They could have stuck to one single person's story to make things more clear-cut and sensible...

And I just hated the ending...ended too suddenly, didn't show how mahi made the decision to leave her career and she looked miserable in that last scene in Europe...

completely agree with this...

i actually think the bad transitions and lack of smooth storyline took away from kareena's great performance... she was the best thing about the movie

hmmm I see, yeah seems like a case of lackluster script & screenplay... have to watch it complete.. just watched like first 40 minutes and found it quite average

i don't know why this middle section-average is given so much importance.

either movies a hit or flop. simple.

yup, vidya and katrian are way ahead of kareena in terms of giving hits, especially without khans. ohhh...emran hashmi is NOT a khan and imran is NOT a khan either.
