SRK is the biggest brand name of BW...usko banners ki zaroorat nahi hai...banners need him...issliye whatever banner SRK chooses to work with will automatically become a BIG banner...because it will be associated with the biggest brand of BW...the SRK brand...period..

SRK does share a special bond with yashji😛 most of his best performances are from yash chopra's films 👍🏼 if yash chopra made SRK then sooraj bartajya also made salman 😉

For the ones who think SRK got hits due to YRF, please do some reserch.

YRF movies flopped badly with amir's parampara and then with anil and with rishi in late 80's and early 90's.

Yash ji cast SRK in Darr, FIRST EVER ATTEMPT by a lead actor when all leads including Amir ,Salman REFUSED to play a different negative character.,

Then Yasj ji had success in Darr, and they had their biggest hits with DDLJ and their proffesional relationship became stronger.

It's always good to have some knowledge to back fatcs rather than commenting.

I respect YASH Ji a lot.

Then films started to have an overseas audience.

People can easily forget how Bollywood got so big overseas. Yash ji, Karan combo with SRK is the one who attracted overseas audience at first and made it big.

Their combo was the prime reason why cinema owners opened Multiplex chain at first. Specially with that massive opening they got for their Veer Zara.

People always forget past, but should give respect when its due.

why only 80s,90s ?? in 2007-08 when almost all yash raj films tanked badly at BO it was SRK who saved them by CDI and RNBDJ !!
