Reminder to members to please stay on topic instead of bringing in inappropriate discussion into this thread. No talk about who she should or should not do, that has nothing to do with this topic and is not appropriate for the forum.

With that said I do think she's done quite a variety of roles, it is one thing I admire about her. Priyanka seems like the type who isn't afraid to take up a challenge, she likes to experiment and that is a good thing. I haven't seen Barfi yet but I've read positive reviews about her performance, looking forward to watching Barfi.

She def did a lot of different roles but like some mentioned she's inconsistent.. she wasnt liked by critics in TMK and AA. While she does well in some roles, she's not the best when it comes to commercial roles. And I disagree with the fact that every actress is inconsistent.

She's def has guts and isn't afraid to challenge herself as an actress...that I like about her.

She has been coming up with strong performances ever since Fashion (2008).

What's Your Raashee? (2009) was criminally underrated. 12 characters in one film, all played with such attention to detail and individuality. She should rather have won National Award for that, but that's not how the industry works. Kaminey she was appreciated for.

Even Anjaana Anjaani (2010) she played the role so well. And who could forget 7 Khoon Maaf (2011) and now Barfi (2012).

I agree with that. I think at first when I saw the promos, I thought she was overdoing the autism bit since I've seen fairly normal looking autistic kids only. But she did an amazing job with the character! A lot of actresses can do challenging characters but they tend to stick to a glamourized version of them.

I don't know why What's Your Rashee flopped. I thought it was pretty funny! And Priyanka was amazing as a few of those characters.

I don't think she was bad in Teri Meri Kahaani or Anjaana Anjaani. The 2012 story was really weak with weak characters. No development at all. But she played Aradhana really well because there was actually more substance to that character! Anjaani Anjaani was also not bad in terms of what was expected from her. I think it was stupid that she was trying to kill herself one minute but was totally normal and happy-looking the next, but that was the script's fault, not her's.

It's normal to have flops. And some level of inconsistency is normal too. She's bound to make mistakes. We all do.

I'm actually looking forward to what movies she's planning on doing next! Which is generally not a a thing I do with Bollywood actresses.

She would totally rock it! I friggin love her as the tough chick as Roma in the Don series, LOVE HER! No one else in bollywood can play Roma so fantabulously.
