Way before Britney, the Subcontinent's youth were dancing to the tunes of another 15 year old girl in pigtails. The youth of the 80s remember it as the "Disco Deewane" era - The era of Nazia. Wasn't she ahead of her times, my friends? She ruled the pop scene of the 80s - both in India and Pakistan. She will always be regarded as the UNDISPUTED PIONEER of pop music in the subcontinent.

30 years later, her voce is as youthful and mesmerizing! Thank you, Karan Johar, for bringing her song back to life!

That's very sad. :'(

She was just 15 when she sung this, her singing and voice are/were too mature for her age. this song is mindblowing. Even Disco deewane has not much lyrics and all, but it's just her voice and her WAY of singing that is the beauty of the song, just like this one -

google it and read her bio. pretty sad. her and her bro were an absolute delight in music world. also go on youtube, i bet there are lots of videos/posts of hers.
