who can forget zeenat babe...taking the song to another level with her oomph, style, and right moves.

She was just 15 when she sung this, her singing and voice are/were too mature for her age. this song is mindblowing. Even Disco deewane has not much lyrics and all, but it's just her voice and her WAY of singing that is the beauty of the song, just like this one -

She won a Filmfare Award for Best Female Playback Singer for "Aap Jaisa Koi". And she is still the youngest winner of this award!

Nazia was so beautiful and had such a beautiful voice...not one of those screechy, annoying, garden variety types...her voice was distinct. Such a shame that she died at a young age. I first heard the Boom Boom song the late 90s during the Indie pop era. Many years later, found out it was a Nazia Hassan song and then when I tried to look up more songs, found out she died at a young age. 😔

Having said that, I don't like the SOTY song, its a disgrace to her memories. 😵
