I won't bother about the Ameesha is better than Katrina discussion, but let's just say Katrina is the smartest Hindi film heroine since the past ten years.

She knew how to carry herself very well, and never spoke foul of anybody. From the posts I have seen, most of Ameesha's quotes have been altered. It's like the Chinese whisper game, you say something and the last person gets it all wrong.

I don't know want to go off topic, but both Ameesha and Kareena were taking digs at each other. We all know Kareena started it by saying Ameesha looked ugly and stuff like that post KNPH's success, so if you are defending her for the arrogant statements she made all I can read is BIASED. Kareena was a true bitch of her time, but let's not get into that now.

Anyway, back to topic, I don't want to defend Ameesha's performance in AMALL. She did overact for an asthma patient, but people fail to acknowledge any of her performances afterwards which is what bothers me. I think she acted well in all her films after Ankahee, even though the roles were not very demanding.

Katrina has been in the hands of good directors all the time, while Ameesha worked in a lot of bad films. How is it possible for an actor to improve if they only act in bad films? Ameesha always acted well when she had a good director, so I feel she would have shown a better improvement than Katrina had she done better films.

Anyway, I have a feeling Ameesha has a good year ahead of her. I hope she proves herself over and over with those films, so she can erase people's memory of her as a bad actress. I really think she can bounce back if she delivered a hit or two.

I also like Amisha Patel as an actress more than Katrina ...Amisha is more unlucky than a bad actress ..Apart from Konkona i can not remember any actress not doing bad movies or bad roles ...Even roles in flop also counts ..I loved her acting in Ankahee .It was a well mad film ..no but a very sensitive , emotional film ..Like i read somewhere ..If Gadar or KNPH would have released now ,Amisha would have become huge star ..Anyways in real life we don't know how celebs are in reality ...So all are our guesses ..

Some one mentioned , she took her parents to court ..If she believed she has been wronged by them , then why not ..Even if she did a mistake ..we all do misunderstand our parents many times ..

Kareena's career actually took a turn after JWM ..She was a way more better actress than these two but she has been always bitchy ..i feel more than Amisha , it is kareena ..Still Kareena got roles after roles giving flops after flops ...

Considering everything i feel Amisha was plain unlucky ...than bad actress ...

You are extremely misinformed. Vikram clarified many times that he never cast Ameesha himself, but it was always under the producer's will. AMALL had the same producers as KNPH, Elaan was produced by the same producer of Humraaz, and he was keen on Divya Dutta for Ankahee but Pritish Nandy insisted on Ameesha because he wanted a more commercial actress. Sanjay Suri and Rituparna Sengupta were also the original choices for Aftab's and Esha's role, but the producer felt it would look like an art film with this cast.

Ameesha had a gazillion fan sites post KNPH and Gadar, so her not being a crowd's favorite is a false statement. She has given honest performances in several films, JWM is not the only honest performance delivered by a Hindi film heroine.

i personally dont think anyone's help can make people like someone, i brought vikram coz salman was being used in kat's case. What so ever be the case, fact remains he directed her and also at a recent event told how she used to force him to cast her as she has been on an all time low right after the first year of her career.
