She says, "Dancing is my passion. Salsa is new for me. I am quite nervous and excited about this project. Salsa is like good music, it elevates the spirit and is exhilarating."

Longinus Fernandes, who choreographed the song Jai Ho in Danny Boyle's Oscar-winning film Slumdog Millionaire, is choreographing the sequence for Veena Malik.
He said, "Veena is a good dancer and has the skill to adapt to different dance moves. She is a dancing star."
