On DVD Billa..no one seems willing to go the theater in my family since none of us are very fond of the genre..@Shreya

People do watch romantic films, but I'm not sure how into a "Yash Chopra" type film they might be now because his films aren't the breezy rom-coms so popular now..but more eternal love stories type. Families and older generation are more likely to appreciate..young generation ka pata nahin. I'm just hoping there are no LAME item numbers.

As for money, well it has money-making names associated with it..it should make money.

It has many reasons: -

1. Films like 3 Idiots comes 1nce in a decade which is able to win hearts of every film lover. Very rare where u will see fans of Salman, Srk, Akki, Hrithik all big stars liking a Single film this much.

2. Appreciation which it receive and promotion which was done played the key role on Repeat Audience for this movie.

3. It was coming after Aamir's ATBB Ghajini, Aamir's promotion, Aamir's Script choice perfectionist image, Plus class Acting.

4. Ticket Rates were increased in Multiplexes, A Ticket which comes in 250, it was selling like hot cakes in 350,450 Range on Weekends. Opening figures plus weekdays increase Ticket price boombed the overall collection in long run. Movies like RR, BodyGuard doesn't have the increase Ticket price thing.

U r missing the super fun of watching this film in Hall... Try kar lena if u cud watch it in Hall... u will enjoy it for sure.

True, hall mein you always enjoy movies 10 times more..I have very rarely walked out of a theater hating the movie...hmm dekhti hoon..maybe in 2-3 weeks when there is more time.

Rowdy Rathore Opening Weekend Collection 48.3 cr nett. Breaks Agneepath Record.

Rowdy Rathore becomes the biggest opener for 2012 displacing Agneepath, if first three days are taken into consideration. It is much more praiseworthy since, collections are achieved on non-holidays. Rowdy Rathore has collected around 48.3 crore nett all India in its first weekend. Agneepath first 3 days collections was 47.8 crore nett all India. Rowdy Rathore ride on the huge Sunday performance and surpassed everybody in the process.

It took a fabulous start on Friday collecting 15.1 crore nett and further 14.5 crore nett on Saturday and shooting upto 18.7 crore nett (Estimates) on Sunday. Now, Rowdy Rathore is a huge threat to Agneepath lifetime collections to be the biggest grosser of 2012. Only dent in the process is the release of Shanghai this week, who will eat into the collections of Rowdy Rathore from the coming week.

Collection Breakup -

Friday - 15.1 cr nett.

Saturday - 14.5 cr nett.

Sunday - 18.7 cr nett (Early Estimates)

Total - 48.3 cr nett (Early Estimates).
