Yes i too don't have a problem with being stripped naked to save the lives of millions. But to have to go through that after having to gone through that only because my surname is fishy is where i have a problem...You cleared me once, twice, thrice and still you have a problem with my name, my skin, my scarf, my turban, my clothing, my strange sounding landuage...What are they trying to proove?

The fact that a majority beleive that muslims are terrorist is where i have a bloody problem...Just because a majoirty beleive that something is true does not mean that this is true...

According to wikileaks, 20% of the suspected muslim terrorist in guatanmo bay are innocent and have no justifiable reason for being held there, they are tortured just like the other extremists only because they fit the picture of todays terrorist...(they are treated like dogs, google image it, it is graphic..,,all of them, even the innocent ones) Sure there are muslim terrorists out there, but im sure there are others who probs go unnoticed because the authorities are to busy checking out that muslim bollywood actor...

I won't really go into a religion debate of what islam really is, but if "muslim terrorists" really were muslims they wouldn't do this in the first place...

This is such a meandering discussion. Shah Rukh Khan got detained...it happens...yes...even multiple times for many an average person! Nobody knows why and everybody is suddenly announcing new reasons for it. Just as much as my blood boils when anti-Indian rhetoric is spewed, I feel the same way about the US! It may not be home for a bunch of you but it is for a lot of us. If we really want to discuss US policy, how about a proper debate in the DM instead of just spouting the standard fare lines?

You think his PR is going to tell the Indian Government to raise a hue and cry about this and demand an apology? You think his PR has called up social activists like Shabana Azmi and done some voodoo magic on them to make them sound like total idiots? Or did SRK himself do that? 😆 Its not his fault the media, government, and bollywood stars have gone batshit crazy. THEY'RE the ones who turned this into a publicity stunt, not SRK or his PR.

I think we should clear the misconception that only brown people or people with Muslim last name are detained by authorities. There have been many cases where people of other race and religion have been detained/denied entry. I have seen white/African American people get pulled aside for further questioning and have also seen a white kid (3 yrs old) being told he could board a plane because his name matched someone on the watch list.
