Preity Zinta has never bored me in her movies, she has the spontaneity.

While Ash has bored me in all the movies she has acted. Even the period ones she is not that great either.

In Devdas Madhuri was way better as Chandarmukhi, then Ash as Paro.

I think both have their advantages, I love Aish in movies like Hum dil chupke sanam ,Bride and Predjudice ,Mohabtein . And I loved Priety in Dil hai tumra ,KHNH and Veer-Zara . However I think Aish is more the verstaile actress , but Priety is just as good. I think Priety has more memorable character roles though.

I disagree with the notion that Preity doesn't have any memorable roles while Ash does. Preity was pretty good in her own way in Dil Se and Kal Ho Na Ho. Whenever I think of these two movies, Preity does come to mind, not to mention how Kal Ho Na Ho is liked by many & Preity was a huge part of that film. While she may not be that great of an actress, a lot of people actually like Preity as an actress (people like her way more than Ash I'd say). She definitely used her bubbly persona (especially when it came to her roles) to her own advantage & it did help her get a fanbase.

I can list bunches of memorable performances by Preity. The last lear, Heroes, Dil se, Kal ho naa ho, Kabhi alvida na kehna, Dil chahta hain, heaven on earth, kya kehna. Preity can do both restricted and bubbly character whereas Aish only can act reserved actress.

ash is a better actress..i don't find preity a great actress...what did she do in her career...except playing bubbly or mommy roles...i think sangharsh and chori chori chupke chupke could be her best bets..

ash never got great roles in her career but i liked her in Devdas and taal.
