Both are very limited actresses... Cant say who is better...

Ash excels in restrained performances and PZ excels in the bubbly contemporary roles... Other than that Ash's performances are cringeworthy in the bubbly/contemporary roles and the romcom genres. And PZ seems like she is sleepwalking in some of her roles, example: VZ she exactly had two expressions thru out the movie.

None of them are acting greats. However, in my opinion, Preity is far more likable onscreen. Ash on the other hand, always bored me, be it with her acting, her face etc

Preity is more genuine and natural while Ash reeks of falseness and artificiality. Both hardly ever transcends into their roles entirely, though I have almost always enjoyed Preity's screen presence more, while Ash makes me cringe with the "hamminess" of her performance. And I will say Preity is better in bubbly roles than Ash is in period dramas (Ash gets more praise for those roles because there is hardly many actors who can do period dramas well; watch K. Winslet in some of her period dramas and you'll see how much behind Ash is in comparison).

So Preity it is, though neither are great.
