Pyar ki pungi baja ke is yet another chorified song/tune by Pritam.

A few days ago, an Iranian band took legal action against him for Pungi Song.

The choreography is also obviously copied from err "inspired by" Fatboy Slim's Weapon of Choice featuring Christopher Walken.

Yeah its copied from soonan khanum.. I noticed that after hearing the first few seconds of the song! But when you listen to it, it's only the starting.. the rest of the song is different! And the meaning of both the songs/lyrics is different too :)

Earlier this week, the Saif Ali Khan - Kareena Kapoor starrer Agent Vinod was faced with legal trouble when the Iranian band Barobax Corp sent a legal notice citing copyright infringement. In the case, the band claimed that the initial portion of the film's song 'Pungi' was lifted without changes from the band's popularnumber 'Soosan Khanoom' composed in 2010 and registered on June 30 under the Copyright Act in Canada. On Wednesday, they moved the Bombay High Court seeking a stay on Agent Vinod's release, along with a restraining order from using the track in the film.

However on Thursday, the case was heard and dismissed, with the film opening on Friday as planned. The cause for this dismissal of the case was that the band failed to have the required documents in place and the similarity between the two tracks was marginal.
