For actresses, the highest they've ever been paid was 6 crores and that too just once, which made a lot of headlines. I forgot if it was either Aish or Kareena.

But on average, Kareena gets paid 3-4 crores. And that's the so called highest paid actress in bollywood.

Last heard, Kareena's is taking part in profit sharing for Heroine. So that's a plus for her.

I think these Khan boys and rest of the boys overcharge too. Its ok if they get a share in the profits. But charging 20-30 crores before the release of a film is insane. They pay these actors and then cut costs on the writers fees.

I think everyone works hard on the movie just like they do. But my grouse is they dont bother about the story. Thats why we have films like Ra1, Ready.
