Waste of time after a while unless it'll provide something more concrete to discuss other than just comparing groin sizes to see who's got the bigger one

Giant waste of space and like Return_To_Hades said above, it pushes down valid discussion and fills the front page with nonsense threads.

The comparison topics with Kareena involved is getting a little boring and even the recent topics comparing Karishma to the likes of Manisha, Juhi. Not saying no one has no right to make these topics but I think seeing so many comparison topics is getting a little tiring.

The polls are a little overdone, although enjoy reading the who do you think is better.. When it's just one person vrs the other.

Doesn't the forum have more pressing issues? Such as WHERE IN THE WORLD IS WALLY aka sanasoufi!

Yup, Sana's abduction by the aliens definitely warrants more attention. 😆

Maddy, I'm with you I don't think there should be any comparison polls they just become repetitive and annoying. I think we should stick to the rules we had before, seems most feel the same way

Sometimes they are entertaining, sometimes boring. Yes, too much of anything is bad...including rules. Frankly I think IF tends to be hypersensitive a lot of times. It can ruin the fun. C'mon let's admit it. The madness is part of the entertainment here. I like that this section is a bit more relaxed on the rules.

I don't think preemptively striking down comparison threads is a good idea. The very nature of this subject - Bollywood - means that comparison discussions will happen. It's inevitable. Heck, right now there are news articles comparing Vidya to Shabana. If you apply the comparison topic rule too strictly, then by definition that discussion cannot be allowed. And that would be a shame.

Why not place a limit like you have for the number of threads that can be opened by a particular user every day? Do something similar but apply it to the forum in general, not on an individual user basis. Limit the number of comparison topics allowed per week (i.e. no matter how many people post such threads, there can only be a total of X threads per week).
