That's harsh Sheee. The mods can't please everyone. I think she's being super fair by just asking for everyones opinion. Wouldn't you rather she made topics about other issues rather than just throw rules at you? At least now you can voice your opinion :)

yes, mods are baised. They don't say anything to polls, comparing members, and yet making a big deal about my polls.

Comparision polls and topics are not allowed in soap sections. But then the way soaps work is different. There is enough material to discuss and debate on a daily basis. If we dont have comparision polls and topics in this section there will be nothing to discuss or debate most of the time. We will be restricted to ooing and aahing over stars.

I starting looking at this section recently due to the MOTW. So from a third person perspective when I saw a string of poll topics I was thinking "What the heck is going on. This is ridiculous. Why are the mods allowing this. Is it always this stupid?"

Most of the time these topics fly under the radar as they are one off and fade away without distracting from valuable discussion. Every section have a few of these and mods let it slide because it provides silly respite from usual stuff. But every now and then it becomes too much, like in recent times.

I don't think it is fair to accuse one side or the mods of being biased. If the mods wanted to do something they could have made it a rule without input.

I know some people really enjoy the poll topics and like posting in fluff topics like that. Other people probably prefer discussions and feel that these diminish good topics. I think a fair compromise would be to allow perhaps one or two such topics a week. That way there can always be a poll topic but polls won't fill up the front page.

I also want to add that recently a member has been creating lots of comparision topics/polls and it makes rude comments to members disagreeing with its choices even if other members state their opinions respectfully. While every member has the right to create its own polls with its own choices it should be not be the case that a member says that if you disagree stay off my topic. Its a free forum and everyone is allowed to express their opinions.

It's getting out of hand. Period.

"A member can post only one comparison thread or poll per week" -- make this a rule; apney aap hi sab thik ho jayega.

Since comparison threads were not allowed before, they shouldnt be allowed now.

In my earlier post, i have linked Blackstar's post that triggered me to make this thread. These comparison polls was in both (mine and Mandy) our minds and we were contemplating abt them since the past few weeks. And Blackstar's post today was the one that pushed me to make one.

And where are we making a big deal abt your polls. Yours wasn't even a poll to begin with:) I wrote a big essay abt how Tanya's was the reason behind all this.

Anyways... This thread is abt opinions and feedback, I do respect your opinion abt this issue:)

PS: If my actions were dictated by Dexter's opinions, Sanaasoufi wouldn't have lasted this long here... I don't know if you are aware, Dexter has expressed her displeasure abt Sana from a long time. Inspite of Dex's displeasure abt her, she still was around here. Sana would still be here today if she hadn't ventured into the soap sections the other day. Thats how she ended up getting banned.

whatever you say. Even if it was not about my topics, you guys are giving too much importance to some harmless and entertaining topics. you are taking all the fun out from this forum by controlling people on small matters. they were not even that big a deal. if we cant even post topics to see other people discuss it, and to get an idea what the majority think about these actresses then okay, your choice, but I have nothing else to say and post. We are adult and you guys are making it like elementary school. anyway do whatever you want to do.make this place so neat and clean that no one even dare to set foot here, in-case they unintentionally make any mess and then everyone will start complaining.
