Yes. Even Bunty aur Bubli. Straight out of the horse's mouth. Vivek said it himself on Farah Khan's show. It was most likely done not to piss of Ash. But no point blaming her, if Vivek can't man up and let's someone else control him, then he's the only one to be blamed.

I just find it funny that he blames everything on Salman. Salman is above this crap. He's got a million things to do than worry about a Nobody. Never even stopped his own brother from hanging out at SRK's parties.

^^^Oh I get it now. He didnt do those films as Rani was Ash's rival and Ash was pissed off with Rani for stepping into Chalte Chalte in her place. OMG...Ash really CAN control her men. After she started dating JrB he stopped doing movies opposite Rani. This way not only Rani lost out but JrB lost out too as he shared the best chemistry with Rani.

But really...cant blame Ash for trying. If these guys cant stick to their own convictions then Ash isnt really to be blamed.

Salman might have been pissed off with him in the beginning, but he doesn't seem to be the kinds who would bother to carry on a grudge for years and years! Vivek's faliure is his own doing and has nothing or very little to do with Salman Khan!

If Salman was this vengeful, he would have done something to mess around with Aishwarya's career first...she was his girlfriend, she was the one who broke his heart...Vivek was just a latchey! But ironically, Aishwarya went on to become a super-successful star after her break-up with Salman! There was something in her which led her to this kind of success, despite the industry turning against her as they had turned against Vivek...then what stopped Vivek from following his so-called girlfriend's steps and emulate her success?

Aishwarya also had no big banners...no KJo, no YRF, no Khans to work with, yet she became the country's numero uno star and also the face of our industry globally! Could Salman do anything about it? Infact, even he started achieving unprecedented success after his break-up with Ash!

It was only Vivek who become the proverbial Dhobi Ka Kutta...na ghar ka, na ghat ka!😆

That is what is most irritating and annoying about Vivek!

a) He makes a complete idiot out of himself for a woman

b) He blames her for making him an idiot in front of the world instead of being man enough to either keep quiet or take the blame on himself for his own failures!

Remember his interview with Farah Khan, where he referred to Aishwarya as a 'Tupperware Factory'? Lets give credit to Salman here...he might have allegedly abused her or stalked her for months, but atleast he did not call her name in front of the media and infact, kept quiet about his side of the story...still does! Is it any wonder that despite being the one to blame, he went onto get all the sympathy?

@Poppy: Salman IS vengeful. He caused lots of problems for Ash and thats why she went thru a bad phase career-wise for a few years post Devdas. She tried to make a pair with SRK but that again didnt work out due to Salman. Finally she had no Salman, no SRK even no Aamir by default and consequently no big films. So she took refuge in doing so called international projects. On the personal front she had Vivek for company. When she started dating him he was a fast rising star just like Ranbir Kapoor is today. Finally she got a breakthrough by doing the item number in Bunty Aur Babli for YRF. Then by doing D2 and dating Abhishek(yet another rising star and then BW's prince in waiting) she was back to being in demand.

Coming to VO I dunno if Salman explicitly told anyone not to work with VO. As someone pointed out Salman has never stopped even his family from socializing with SRK or stopped Sanjay Dutt from working with VO. I think BW types simply thought that Salman would take offence that stopped giving VO work after the PC. The BO failure of the films he had didnt help either...his behavior was anyways a turn off. But refusing to work in big films to avoid working with Ash's rivals was downright silly. Maybe thats why he never gained her respect either.

@ksh... yh i remember adi's statement at the time...its so tru tho cos he did think he was al tht...i guess he realised it a bit too l8, but 2 blame salman 4 his failure is stupid...

he was offered Arjun's role in OSO too, bt i dnt gt y he turned it down...there is no logical reason 2 explain it...his reason on TMB didnt evn make sense
