Vivek opened the sewage & got shit on his face in return. He got carried away and didn't think long term while trying to start something off in excitement with Salman, he was a total idiot for the way he went about things it was career suicide, that he brought on himself now he's best known as the laughing stock of the industry and nobody would wanna work with a cartoon like that. It's a shame cause I thought he was pretty ok as an actor.

And didnt anyone counsel him to try a descrete way of handeling salman? It appears to me that someone other power jumped the situation to attack salman professionally and personally. I don't think Its just vivek he is upset with.. But Vivek gets the full brunt of it publicly. And I don't blame salman for still harboring disgust and annoyance! And manipulation for manipulation!

There were some allegations in the media that Ash had instigated VO but she denied it.
We present Aishwarya Rai's version on her break-up with Vivek Oberoi

It was a match made on earth, rather than in heaven; fuelled more by controversy than by passion. In fact, it was the kind of love story that had a foregone conclusion. The Aishwarya Rai-Vivek Oberoi love story reached this conclusion six months ago. A close friend of Aishwarya Rai confirms it: "They broke up six months ago."

Ash admirers have always wanted to know more about her relationship with Vivek Oberoi. But their curiosity has rarely been whetted. "I have always maintained silence about my personal life and I won't make an exception this time," was Aishwarya's standard response, to any personal question.

The farthest Aishwarya would go, when asked about her public appearances with Vivek Oberoi, was, "Vivek is a very good friend." Beyond that, she remained politically correct, never acknowledging his presence or importance in her life. Recently when the media splashed the Ash-Vivek split story, she was disappointed. "It hurts her when she reads one-sided stories and it is very easy to get away with such stories because she won't react to allegations," says a close associate of Ash

So, this time, we made sure to get her version. We cornered a friend of hers who has known Aishwarya Rai for 16 years. Ash discussed her anxieties with our source. Now our source gives us Ash's version.

Allegation: Though Vivek bailed Ash out from Salman Khan, she refused to acknowledge his special importance in her life and treated him like a stranger.
Clarification: She has always stood by Vivek as a friend. They've attended award shows and charitable functions as a couple, travelled together in India and abroad and has also worked together in Kyon... Ho Gaya Na, which was directed by Vivek's friend Sameer Karnick.

Allegation: Ash's family disliked Vivek Oberoi and didn't wan't her to marry him
Clarification: She is fond of her family and will not speak about them, primarilybecause she fears being misinterpreted by the media. But Vivek and Ash's families never had any issues. Ash takes all her decisions herself and her family doesn't interfere in her personal life.

Allegation: Though she claims that the relationship was over six months ago, she still met Vivek and kept in touch with him. She even came to his house this November for dinner before leaving for Umrao Jaan.
Clarification: Ash had categorically told Vivek that she is not going to marry him. There was a huge miscommunication when an electronic channel flashed the news that Vivek was getting married by the end of this year. Ash was offended with the statement because she doesn't discuss her private life with the media. Later Vivek apologised to Ash and things were fine again. But Ash has always been sure that she will never marry Vivek. Yes, she did visit Vivek's house before leaving for Jaipur, because she is fond of his family and she had been invited bythe Oberois.

Allegation: She promised to attend the premiere show of Home Delivery but didn't turn up. She refused to be with Vivek when he needed her the most.
Clarification: She never promised that she would attend the premiere show. She said that she'd try. And she really tried. Ash was working day and night and due to Mr. Bachchan's illness, her shooting got delayed. So she had to finish all her solo shots during the period. Much later Abhishek Bachchan joined the unit. Moreover she didn't get any 'formal' invite from director Sujoy Ghosh and no one discussed her flight timings with her business manager. How do you expect Aishwarya to fly without making any arrangements for her?

Allegation: She called Vivek at Cannes Film Festival after she received flak from the international media for her poor costumes. Vivek immediately took the next flight out to be with her. But she ignored him.
Clarification: Ash was busy with her assignments, yet she made time for Vivek. She wanted him to accompany her to the festival but Vivek chose to stay back at the hotel.

Allegation: Ash unceremoniously dumped Vivek after seeing the box-office result of Home Delivery and immediately started dating Abhishek Bachchan.
Clarification: This is utter rubbish. The relationship ended six months ago and Home Delivery was released much later, in December 2005. Ash never made it obvious that she is more popular than Vivek in India and abroad. She worked with Abhishek in Dhai Akshar Prem Ke in 2000, much before she knew Vivek. She is very close to the Bachchans. She is certainly not dating Abhishek. 😆 Incidentally, Abhishek is a friend of Vivek.

Allegation: She didn't give a much-deserved clarification to Vivek before splitting up with him and he had to read about it in the newspapers.
Clarification: Ash did talk to Vivek about breaking off the relationship. The reasons for the break-up are best known to them. And no, she doesn't owe any clarification to the media. I know the reason for the break-up but would not like to comment on it since it's too personal. She likes Vivek as a friend and she doesn't want to say anything negative about him. But then, if Vivek chooses to hallucinate about a relationship that was long over, it isn't Ash's fault, is it?

************************************************************ *

Rani Mukherji warned Vivek
The day Vivek Oberoi wanted to call a press conference on April 1, 2003, his friend Rani Mukherji called him up and tried to stop him from making the mistake. But it was Ash who instigated Vivek to go ahead. He did so, since he was deeply in love with Ash. "Rani was a very good friend of Vivek and she knew that Ash would not acknowledge him in her life and Vivek would lose out on working in very good projects due to this," says a close friend of Vivek. Incidentally, Ash was not fond of Rani after the latter replaced her in Chalte Chalte. Vivek stopped working with all the film-makers and colleagues Ash had a problem with.

Vivek Is Still In Love with Ash
The buzz goes that Vivek has planted the story of his break-up with Ash to gain publicity. But a very close friend of Vivek says, "He doesn't need all these publicity gimmicks. He respects Ash and hasn't ever spoken against her, although he was provoked by his friends. All he wants to know is the reason behind Ash dumping him. Vivek is heart-broken today."

Abhishek Bachchan on Ash
"This has become a ritual. The media loves to cook up such stories. And once you start reacting to such gossips, you end up giving it undue attention. Ash is a great co-actor and we share a very cordial relationship. It is embarrassing for an actor, particularly a woman, to get associated with men she isn't involved with."

Aishwarya and Vivek split up!

The disaster has struck Viveik Oberoi and our saviour-boy is currently reeling under the biggest emotional crisis of his life. After all, parting ways with Aishwarya Rai is no less than facing a tsunami… especially when you're heads over heels in love with your girl just like Viveik.

After three long years of courtship, the duo has decided to call it a day and tread their separate paths.

Viveik, who seldom left any opportunity to proclaim his love for the most beautiful lady on the earth, is apparently heartbroken.

Reveals a close friend to the couple, "The main reason for their spilt is Aishwarya's continuous refusal to acknowledge their relationship publicly. Moreover, Ash's mother never liked him. They didn't like Viveik professed his love for Ash on several TV shows."

Some even claim that Rais were looking at the matrimony rather sooner than later while Viveik wanted to concentrate solely on his career for some more time.

Ash and Viveik were last seen together at a friend's birthday celebration in August. But this was before Ash left for Tunisia. Soon after her return from Hollywood shoots she immediately immersed herself into new Bollywood projects leaving a big void in Oberoi's life.

Last week, at the premiere of his movie Home Delivery Viveik arrived with his family, without Ash, which clearly indicates that the writing is on the wall.

Thats true. I feel he had enough talent to do much better than Abhishek or John who are his contemporaries.

He is playing the villian. HR has given statements saying that the villian's role is so good that he wanted to do it himself. But there have been some media reports that the villian's role has been cut down a lot in comparision for what VO signed up for.
Btw Krish again reminds me how VO and HR are about the same age group. Yet hardly anyone knows VO is in Krish.

Btw I wonder why do BW still think Salman would get irritated if they work with VO. I dont think Salman even cares for what VO does.

And such an irony...the two people who were really the main cause of the controversy, went onto become Bollywood's greatest success stories...Salman is the biggest superstar in our country and Aishwarya is successful, happily married and settled comfortably in domestic bliss!
While Vivek is languishing on the sides...
And all he could have done to prevent this was to mind his own business and not act smart!
I don't think Salman bothers about Vivek anymore...probably doesn't even remember his name...but you see, in Bollywood, once you have been left behind, you are just left behind...its impossible to catch up! There are too many new actors, new talent and younger people around...why would anyone bother with a has-been like Vivek Oberoi? There is nothing remotely special about him, never had been! If there was, then he too would have done well for himself, despite Salman's best efforts to undermine him!
Dunno why, but this Ranveer chap reminds me too much of Vivek...the same cockiness, the same 'I am too smart for my own good' attitude and the same devil-may-care attitude towards everyone!
PS: I would have respected Vivek and even felt sympathetic towards him, had he stood by his actions and not apologized to Salman...but he went onto to bend and break his back trying to get back into 'Bhai's good books!

Vivek by grovelling to Salman continuously made it seem that he has more confidence in Salman's connections rather than his own talent to get work.
Btw Ranveer reminds me of Vivek too. I wonder if Katrina will be his version of Aishwarya. But somehow Katrina has failed to incite the passions of men in Bollywood as successfully as Aish did during her heydays.😆

Katrina has nil sex appeal...she is very beautiful to look at, but is as attractive as a cardboard box...soaked in water!

Aishwarya...whatever names one might call her, truly drove men crazy and it had less to do with her stunning looks, and more to do with her inherent sex-appeal!
Ranveer should really tone himself down...and try and learn a few lessons in manners from the likes of Ranbir and Imraan, who atleast appear to be down-to-earth and sensible! He has been rubbing everyone the wrong way and it won't be long before he finds his nemisis in the industry, just like Vivek found his in Salman (and Aishwarya!)
PS: Deepika, while sorely lacking in talent, also excels in the 'driving men crazy' department! Its something that women are just born with...you either have it or you don't!
