Everybody knows that Kareena Kapoor and Amrita Arora are BFFs, in fact they've been that way for over a decade. But now it seems these girlies have hit a speed bump ever since Saif Ali Khan's recent altercation at Wasabi, Taj Palace. Why?

Well I'm hearing a different version of events, apparently Amu's husband Shakeel Ladak is the one who punched Iqbal Sharma and his father, not Saif who actually had to intervene and stop matters from getting worse. (I can see that.)

But as soon as the whole incident took a serious turn and the matter became public, Amu begged Bebo and Saif to address the press since I guess, handling the media is not really Shakeel's forte. Kareena might have agreed thinking things would blow over quickly but now she's fuming that everyone is blaming Saif for the incident. (Oopsy, scapegoat much?)

A source reveals, "they might not make it public, but yes Kareena and Amrita have kind of fallen out. Malaika (Arora Khan) has been trying to play peacemaker, and close friend Shabina Khan who stayed with Bebo that night to support her also feels that Arora is at fault. While Saif couldn't say no to Amu when she requested him to take the blame, Bebo is upset that Shakeel has gotten away scott free in the entire episode!"

Yikes. If this version is true then I really think Shakeel should man up and admit what happened. Two bird, one confession? Save Saif's rep and his wife's friendship. I mean he's in construction not cinema, the press won't even care that much after a while.

*On the other hand since Saif took the fall and mentioned that the Taj's CC TV footage captured it all I'm a little confused what to believe. I guess we'll have to wait and watch…

I just suggested the same thing to my friends. Kinda felt that things between Amrita and Kareena would be tense. I watched Mallika's interview today, and it seems as if she's wanting to stay away from all of it as much as possible. All she said was Saif's already given a statement and we agree with it.

Its a fact that Shakeel is the one who punched the senior citizen.

But Saif is the one who got into the fight with Sharma.

So Malini is mixing both stories up.

But what SUCKS is that since the media wasnt interested in Shakeel whatzzziszzface, they just used Saif as the main culprit, even though Iqbal Sharma specifically said that Saif's "friend" hit my father in law.

Either way, Saif's name is in the muck. Which friend, who cares?

And even I was thinking that Saif & Kareena are a in a SHITTY situation, coz all Saif is doing is saying, "I never punched an elder man, that's not me" but he doesnt deny the fight with Sharma. But he cant even say, "I didnt punch him, Shakeel did" coz...Bebo's bestie's husband.

Malini's claiming that Saif took all the blame on himself? Because Saif admitted that he did fight with Sharma.
And I don't think Saif's that in love with Bebo, and nor is he insane or bebo stupid, that they would take the blame and confess it to be there's. Unless of-course they did, in which case they are stupid and insane.

Miss Malini is CONFUSED.

Saif DID get in a fight with Sharma, that much is clear.

BUT, he did NOT hit the senior citizen. That was Shakeel Ladakh, but unfortunately, he's not famous enough for the media to clarify or put on a pedestal for everyone to target.

People dont even know the name. Everyone automatically assumes Saif hit the senior citizen even though Iqbal Sharma said ti was Saif's FRIEND who hit my father in law

yesterday they were showing a report on zoom where i think it was either Saif's house or Kareena's.. Kareena, Amrita and Malaika were on the roof looking down where all the press was..

That happens when husbands/BF's/GF's are involved they feel the pinch and the repercussions whether they're directly involved or not and have to take a stand & not surprisingly they'll stick up for their partners. Forget the ethical side to it.
