Why Vidya and not Kangana Ranaut? - Page 5

I wish both of them would succeed and put an end to this "there can only be one serious successful actress" but definitely Vidya is a much stronger performer to me. Kangana is very good, but some of her delivery are not as strong.
ALSO, I don't think it's her who is asking for "psycho" roles as much as the producers know she can pull it off and instead of taking risks with new roles for her, they offer her the "psycho" roles.

I don't think Kangana can pull off a film like TDP because she's sucks at dialogues delivery, she's still a good actress but she can't pull off any of Vidya roles at all.

Talking abt versatility, I think those days are gone when one actress could do justice to or versatile enough to carry all kind of roles...

Other than Munna Bhai where she did play the aforementioned flower pot, others are average to small successes. I have no problem with Vidya hogging the lime-light. She's very good at what she does. Commercial or non-commercial. I have a problem with people calling her versatile. She's obviously not and its been proven many times when she has tried to do something different.

I also disagree with her being any serious competition to Kareena, Kat and PC. She just can't play the roles they can play. She can't play a college girl in Bodyguard, or do a Kat in MBKD or PC in Don 2.

She's mono-tone and plays the sari clad victim or a seductress well but thats where it ends. I don't see her ever reaching the top due to her lack of versatility and her lack of big banners.

PC and Kareena are fairly versatile amongst the current ones but they too lack in some kind of roles... I was watching her Mujra the other day and realized that Kareena cannot carry the kind of roles that Ash could do justice to... Exactly the same way Ash cannot do a JWM...

Similarly PC cannot do justice to roles like Parineeta... Same with Vidya too... She cannot do a Dostana or a Fashion... She excels in certain roles and the others too excel in other roles...

All of them have their niche and all of them have their target audience... Times are good now and there is a market for all kinds of movies and their are producers who are ready to pump in money to explore even the newbie directors and filmmakers...

Vidya has more screen presence and mass appeal.

I wouldn't say vidya is a better actress than Kangana. The thing is luck. When Kangana had fashion, Vidya didn't have that. Kangana is now doing films that doesn't prove her worth.

Both are great actress, but not perfect either. I can't see vidya in some roles and I can't see kangana in certain roles.

Kangan has better screen presence IMO. I like them both as actors, I use to like Kangana but now she is doing stupid movies. Vidya is doing great films so I look forward to her films more than Kangan's


Kangana is so bad in TWM though. And vidya in Hey baby was horrible.

I personally like Kangana. But i have to admit, she isn't consistent.

The only role from Kangana I can't see Vidya do is Fashion because she's too short to be playing a model and will come off too small on a catwalk 😆 Others I can picture her playing but most of Vidya roles like TDP Kangana can't do.

I loved Kangana when she used play mental issue characters but these days she wants commerical success like any actress so she's doing these mindless comedy and she's horrible in it. She's amazing at psycho characters...I missed the way she used to be
