Q. Will The Dirty Picture take a big start and can it beat Delhi Belly which was similar sort of film?

A. It should open well with Mumbai circuit being very strong. It has good chance to beat Delhi Belly opening as long as content is accepted.

I hope the movie lives up to the promos and the hype. A good run at the BO will not only increase stocks of people like Vidya, Emraan, Ekta Kapoor, Milan Luthra but also help the case of heroine oriented movies like Heroine.

I will definitely watch this FDFS

The Dirty Picture is poised to take an excellent opening this Friday and not just in single screens but also in the city multiplexes. All credit to the sizzling promos and the super hit song, Oh La La. The fact that the film is supposedly based on the life of the South siren, Silk Smitha, has also added to the buzz.

Imagine a nobody who became an extra and then the most wanted heroine of the early 80s. Chronicling the meteoric rise and steep fall of the erstwhile screen sensation, The Dirty Picture is set against the colourful and entertaining backdrop of the fierce male-dominated South-Indian film industry of the 80s. The quintessential siren, Silk (Vidya Balan), knew her audiences, and it didn't seem like anything would stop the ambitious starlet, till it did, in the form of unrequited love. To the world, she was the queen of sensuality. But at heart, she was just another woman yearning for love in a ruthless world.

I am def going next monday to see it with friends

I so want to go cinema and watch this movie but don't think I will be able to because A I am a lazy ass and I am not making the effort to go to London. B There is no one that will take me to the cinema, my sister that I would have gone with is on holiday and my other sister she will go with me but I have to be mentally ready to go with her...

So I think internet shall have to be where I watch it!
