Excerpts from the Interview: How do you find stardom? Very hectic and busy. I'm running all over the place. I'm just back from Dubai shooting for The Killler. But this is not the end. I'll have to juggle between studios and outdoors for three films. What is 'The Killer' all about? Emraan Hashmi and I are in the lead of the film. I play a bar dancer in the film and I'm romantically paired with Emraan. The story of the film is really good. The film is basically a thriller and narrates the story of things that take place in a single night. Currently we are shooting for the film. So you pair up with serial kisser boy Emraan. What about the kisses in the film? That is the surprise here. There are no kissing scenes in the film. The film doesn't need scenes to titillate the audience and Bhatts were very clear about it. The story had no place for anything such and they didn't wanted to forcibly imply it. I'm glad for that. Are you enjoying working with Emraan? He is a very nice co-star, very simple and sensible unlike his screen image. He is just opposite to what he is on screen. I'm enjoying working with him. You are called as the protg to Ram Gopal Varma. How do you react to that? There is nothing much I can say about it. I prefer concentrating on my work than to pay heed to any such things. Are you happy getting the break of your career with RGV banner?
Tell us about your role in Go, Shiva and your other films. I play an innocent and bubbly 18-year girl in Go and it is a very sweet film. We've almost wrapped up the shooting of the film. Shiva will be directed by Ramu sir where I play a crime reporter and Mohit plays a cop. I'm shooting for these films now. Apart from these I haven't signed any other films. Lots of offers are coming, but I want to take my time to make right decisions for the right films. |
