lol iam not against any dishum dishum here..have seen a lot of them in soap forums..and no idea about the extent of dishum dishum here as i rarely post in this forum..just that we go to a thread expecting something and you end up seeing something else there it makes you irritated..😛

Everything is important. Opening figures and weekend figures, afternoon figures and evening figures, fat figures and slim figures, tall figures and short figures; even the loudness of the fans at the screenings is also important (one day you will see exact figures in decibels being posted here) as is the count of fans who fainted or went into orgasmic delight upon watching the film in the theatres.

Ra.One (Hindi) collected 14.50-14.75 core nett approx on its first day. Mysore circuit was a first day record. Below is the first day territorial breakdown of the film.

Mumbai - 5.66 crore

Delhi/UP - 2.22 crore

East Punjab - 95 lakhs

West Bengal - 1.10 crore

Bihar - 30 lakhs

CP Berar - 70 lakhs

CI - 37 lakhs

Rajasthan - 73 lakhs

Nizam - 1.15 crore

Mysore - 90 lakhs

Others - 55 lakhs

TOTAL - 14.63 crore

Ra.One has had the third biggest opening day of all time. The top ten opening days of all time are as follows.

1. Bodyguard - 20.62 crore

2. Ra.One 14.63 crore (approx)

3. Dabangg - 14.45 crore

4. Ready - 13.33 crore

5. Threes Idiots - 13.00 crore

6. Tees Maar Khan - 12.82 crore

7. Raajneeti - 10.33 crore

8. Housefull - 9.32 crore

9. Ghajini - 9.13 crore

10. Golmaal 3 - 8.72 crore crore

it stands second in all time collections well below my expectations... but lets see how it goes frm today !!!! 😛

Pallo, imagine if 20 years down the line Golmaal3 and TMK are considered classics of Indian Cinema based on these figures 😆 Imagine what it would be like .. TMK sitting right next to ... erm Sholay 🤣🤣🤣
