Can AISHWARYA Give Blockbuster now in Bollywood? - Page 5

That's the tragedy of Aishwariya Rai, Her performances are as mediocre as her over-hyped, under-performing box office pull. Rave reviews mean nothing. Everyone gets them. Katrina has been getting them recently for Rajneeti and ZNMD. No one would call her a good actress.

She's the Anna Kournikova of Bollywood. All hype no substance.

But kudos to her and her marketing team for making a career out of nothing.

She doesnt need to give a blockbuster I mean she has done some amazing work...it's not a major issue if she has had flops which actor hasn't had flops but honestly I have enjoyed her work and I hope she can come back with some good films. As I said few months back box office and acting are two different things but unfortunately one or two cant differentiate the difference

Aishwarya can definitely deliver if she's got the right role. She CAN act. SHe may be not that versatile though. She does well in unglamorous characters while goes over the top when she has to be glamorous. Example: raincoat, chokerbali, guru and even Guzaarish (her character was a serious one minus the loud clothing and makeup). Sadly, many directors tap on her glamour part. So unless she starts doing substantial roles ( unlike Action replay) she can make a come back. Aishwarya should seriously follow vidya balan's path. It would suit her.

The question is a bit misleading, since when did actresses become responsible for giving blockbusters?, how many solo heroine films become blockbusters?, this is unfortunately the sad truth.. can she still be part of potential blockbuster projects?, this awaits to be seen.

sure she can, if she jumps on the steroid ones bandwagon, but i doubt she will, i would like to think she has that much self respect..😆

Now if Aishwarya Didn't Gave BLOCKBUSTERS, so other Heroines who are giving are having Sleazy roles with 8 Scenes... Wow, What a Logic 2 Defend your star... 😆

I did not said sleazy roles but sleazy item numbers. Name me one BLOCKBUSTER movie where an actress had an amazing role? in recent movies i mean.

And why are you being catty, i thought we are here to debate, some will defend her and some will not, that's called debating, if you don't agree with my opinions does not mean you have to start making catty comments.
