The day that made Anil cry

Recently, the preview of Pankaj Kapur's Mausam was witness to an emotional Anil Kapoor. On the d-day, a nervous Anil was seen pacing up and down accompanied by wife Sunita and daughters Sonam and Rhea. After a while, the actor just broke down and it was all a very emotional moment for the Kapoors.

They have taken decisions together — both right and wrong. When he saw Sonam and Shahid together on screen, he was sure that this one will work. Later, when he saw Sonam being showered with compliments he was happy but there was a tinge of nervousness. The pressure to live up to expectations can be scary. An otherwise proud Anil was being protective," says his manager.

Anil himself has played a long innings in his career. "No one knows the tricks of the trade better than him. To sustain in this industry for almost three decades is remarkable and he wants the same love and respect for Sonam," he added. Anil was heard telling Pankaj Kapur that Mausam is going to be the best thing that has happened in his daughter's career. The fathers of the leading pair are happy. But it was Anil who didn't mind showing off his vulnerable side.
