Why is Kareena left out in the cold? - Page 22

Most of Priyadarshan's movies are Malayalam, followed by Hindi and then Telugu/Tamil.

Dabangg won for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment 😆, going by people's account the movie was entertaining so maybe that's the reason they won. But who cares, if it would have won best film award then I would think that NA have lost their credibility.

We Junta have the memory of a gold fish - Geet is remembered today yes 5 years from now ask a teenager who that is you would draw a blank(except by her fans . Juhi Madhuri Kajol et all have given memorable performances in the past that drove the public to a frenzy. Saying that nobody remembers their roles now comapred to JWM is comparing apples to oranges. Actually I think Madhuri's HAHK performance tops any performance so far including JWM.

👏 qwww, very well said. JWM is fresh in our psyche and that's why everything about it seems so gilded. One can argue that there hasn't been any movies of similar genre which has attained the same heights since the release of JWM. But, to say that no other movie even prior to JWM was of similar class and standard is ridonkulous. I think this is a problem many people have with blind fans who, while trying to glorify their favorite's performance, denigrate those artists who were not even in the same era or period. I have seen many posters here saying 'Madhuri was just a great dancer" or "Sridevi just overacted in all her movies" in order to stress how great an artist their favorite is in the history of Bollywood. Well, time is a great leveller. In 15 years time, many teenagers on IF will say " Kareena/Priyanka/Vidya hammed in all their movies".

Why only with fans who like actress from this generation...we have maduri and karishma and rani fans who bring down kareena and others to glorify actress from the past. I wouldn't call it being blind fans...that's taking it too far and a silly statement to make. It's called having preference. There is a reason why we like who we like..because we think they are best actors to us. I don't see that us being blind...if that's being blind than every member who are on this forum are blind fans..because once in a while they all defend their favorite and think they are better than x or y actresses.. whether it's vidya fans, tabu fans, priyanka fans, kareena fans, juhi fans, preity fans, karishma fans, maduri fans ect...

So now it comes to the point if a kareena fan thinks that Maduri or Sri aren't even that great of actress...am being called a blind fan. Whatever happened to respecting ppl's opinion. If I think maduri is not a great actress, so what? I think that Vidya and Konkena are great actress. Maybe am not into the cheezy acting that actress back than do. Seriously sometimes I don't get the point of being on this forum when every opinion of yours is called being blind fans. No wonder some ppl hide who they are fan of.

She hasnt gotten one yet coz she's still to reach her peak. She gives her all to her roles, but I think kareena can still do better. She was great in JWM, fantastic in OMkara and Chameli, but still not exaclty NA material.

I would like to mention...tht i simply loved kareena's role in 'Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai'😛 really wonder why she never got her due for it...Her role of a 'matured, extemely humbled, well mannered, down to earth and with extremely pleasing personality was assumm.😛..all the films she did after tht couldnt impress me coz the expression she made with MKKH never left in my mind..
