So true. They are money hungry people.First they edited Dhoo3 because it had bold scenes. But now they let Ash do Heroine because they now need more money and doesn't care about the bold scenes in Dhoom3.I don't gethow it turned in to a feminist issue. If today even a male actor was hospitalized for 5 months he would have also been replaced. If an actor or actress can not do shoot in a specified time then he/she must be replacedThe producer is not wrong here.

I'm against this no-pregnancy clause because I do believe pregnant actresses can be accommodated in ongoing films like Smriti Irani said and I also just despise the message that this no-pregnancy clause implies: women can't be efficient in their work if they are pregnant😕...but I can fully understand why producers need these types of clauses to protect their films after seeing this scandal...they also cannot trust the actors and actresses to be upfront with them

I also think that it's very high and mighty for Aishwarya to play the role of the victim when she herself put Madhur in the hot seat with her pregnancy to begin with...in an industry when top actresses are rarely ever pregnant while shooting, her pregnancy would obviously be a big deal to her director and producers and so she is also at fault for not discussing this with him from the beginning

I agree.I am also against the rule that pregnant woman should be deserted from the workplace. But here the situation is different. In a film you have to dance which is not always possible when you are pregnant. And since the shooting has started the producers can not also postpone the film.So there is no alternative than replacing her.In every working place women are givn maternity leaves but in film industy iit is not possible to give such leaves because here only you can do your work. And why didn't Ash didn't make it clear with er producers that she i trying to get preggy.

they are wanking over the loss of money and production and not abt Aish...can they get a better actress than Aish...of course they can...and also the subject of heroine is bold which doesn't suit Ash at all...eevrytime she has tried to be bold whether is Shabd or Dhoom 2 she received a lot of FLAK. Madhur should get another one and starts shooting...

I really dont know whether Ash is unproffessional or not...but i m happy tht she is out of this project...the film was never meant for her

Did she actually make any statement regarding this? Did she relate to the media that she was treated unfairly just because she is pregnant? Just asking cos I didnt see any articles on that.. maybe i missed the article..
Also on another note, maybe she didnt know she was pregnant before she signed the film.. Some women regularly miss their periods and may not know they are pregnant.. This cld have happened w her too. I dont really think anyone would sign a film without letting the producers know about her pregnancy.. just so arrangements can be made so that the baby would not come to harm during shooting... I dont think aishwarya is the kind of person who would put her baby in harm's way just for publicity... something to ponder about I guess..

True 😆😆😆 ... Right now amir is graciously supporting Ash but if it was his film, he would have shown her the door and built a huge media circus about how his "perfect" film with his "perfect" acting was suffering because of the "imperfect" Mrs. bachchan ... And he would graciously lecture one and all on professional ethics, Though obviously not the kind he himself follows *coughstealingcreditcough*

how was aishwarya going to play the part of an actress anyway? she was pudgy and out of proportion as it was. she wouldnt have been convincing in the role.
thats one reason i dislike her, she takes everything for granted. we pay to watch these movies and we as an audience want to be sure that what we see on screen is presentable as a whole package, not just the face. she takes it for granted that just because shes beautiful and can somewhat act (i use this term loosely) she can not concentrate on her body because it doesnt matter.
unless this pregnancy was an accident i dont understand why she signed on to the movie. and she went as far as promoting it at cannes. if anything, this whole episode hurts madhur more than anyone because the bachchans have chamchasy who'll agree with everything they say. so madhur comes out looking like the villian who doesnt want a pregnant herione. but people forget this pregnant herione is to dance and most probably be wearing outfits that will be highlighting her body.
and penelope shooting for pirates of the carribean is a diff matter all together. she didnt need to wear short dresses or bare her midriff. lol bollywood and hollywood is diff and so are the standards.
