Inception: Popular film but it was smart, innovative and thrilling to say the least.

PS: Also loved Black swan, fighter and king's speech.

Day 31 : A book that you want to be adapted as a movie A Long Way Down
This is my favourite Nick Hornby book and if he wrote the screenplay himself and got to pick his own director this would be a really good film. A Danny Boyle would work wonders.
"The story is written in the first-person narrative from the points of view of the four main characters, Martin, Maureen, Jess and JJ. These four strangers happen to meet on the roof of a high building called Topper's House in London on New years Eve , each with the intent of committing suicide. Their plans for death in solitude, however, are ruined when they meet. The novel recounts their misadventures as they decide to come down from the roof alive - however temporarily that may be."
Its a hilarious story, and more often than not you will identify with out of the four main characters. They are all hilarious, sad, and wonderful in their own way. For a theme so dark, it is one of the funniest and best novels i've read.
I've been wanting to see it in film since i was 14, and perhaps when i'm older and dreams become reality maybe i'll adapt it myself.
Annnd i'm done the challenge. great topic for film lovers, it was wonderful to see who everyone is through their selection in films. I hope the rest of you finish and i will continue reading this thread.
