-Malgudi days is not a film but a series of short stories written by R.K.Narayan. I have grown up watching these series and have been my favorite past time with dad. Chandrakantha, Ramayan and Malgudi days are the shows that I have grown up with...

day 23- your favorite documentary film? : This is not exactly a documentary film... Its more like a social awareness message... This was aired on DD back in the late 80's and early 90's... I was very little but I remember I did love watching it ... And little did I know back then that this is a cause that would be very dear to me now...

Though its pretty old, it's still very evergreen... We have showed it numerous times at many of the educational awareness programs in the rural areas and each time it has been met with a lot of enthusiasm and very positive feedback and results...

Interesting. I went to go see this film with a close friend of mine. I'm not an emotional person, but the scene where she finds out that she can have a baby was done super. I felt so sad. Only a woman knows what she goes through when she finds that kind of information. depressing.

--Pixar has produced such beautiful animations that I have lost count on it. Above scene is from the movie "up" and the beginning montage was filled with so much love and was shown beautifully.

My fave too 😳😃

Day 21 : A film of my fave director I love...

'Godavari' : I like all of Sekhar Kammula movies, but this one is my fave... It's my mom's fave too (probably the only time, we both agreed upon the same thing) 😆 Simple story, plain performances, soothing music and scenic beauty... a perfect combo for a cosy evening with ur fave snack to munch 😳 Here's my fave scene and fave song from the movie... and my fave line from the song too...

" Edama chetuna Shivudu villuni etina aa Raamude... Ettagalada Sita jadanu talli katte vela lo"

(The one who lifted Shiva's bow with his left hand, will he be able to lift Sita's braided hair while knotting the 'talli')

Anjali was such a touching movie... Very heart wrenching... Mani Ratnam gets the emotions right in almost all his movies...

day 24 - a film that makes you feel guilty : Many of them... One of them is Dil Chahta Hai... Was watching it recently for the umpteenth time 😳...One of my all time fav movies...

The bonding...the differences...the misunderstandings... shown between friends is portrayed very well... Felt guilty after watching a few scenes... Have not been keeping in touch with a couple of old friends and it was from my side... So right after I watched the movie I picked up the phone and called one of them... She is in an entirely diff time zone and it was 4 AM at her end... Woke her up and we started from where we had left it the last time and chatted for a good couple of hrs... Felt very good that day...
