Kareena Kapoor was announced as the Indian Diva 2005 by Sahara One and Percept D Mark at an event organsied at Rock Bottom.
Udita Goswami clinched the Diva Discovery award title and the Style Diva title went to Koena Mitra. And the orignal indian Diva Zeenat Aman did the honours of crowning these beauties.
Udita was thrilled that two days of rehearsals could earn her a title. Kapoor admitted she thought Basu would give her a run for her crown. Asked who her favourite all-time diva was, Kapoor said, ''My sister Karisma. She has great style.''
The comperes for the show Rohit Roy, former Miss World Diana Hayden and Hussain kept the audience entertained with their witty one liners.
The Indian Diva 2005 contest is supporting children from the Vatsalya Trust, Sanpada, and a part of the proceeds from the contest would go to fund the trust's activities.
