I have gotten the Japanese Hair Straightening done in the past. There are various systems and I tried a really good one. After several years of doing that, I missed my curly hair so much I went back to it.

I'm onto search about the keratase treatment now.....the products are so expensive....L'oreal has a lot of different keratase products....its like $50 and up

there is actually a brand called Keratase with a lot of different keratase products.

Sigh I liked m y curls once upon a time ji....and then the butcher that needs to hide asap from me made my hair way too short for my liking. Now I can't tie it up and all it does it bounce...boingy boingy.

I refuse to use straightening irons and curlers and what not. The damage to hair is too much for my liking. Once in a bluemoon works for moi. When they grow out, I'll start loving my curls again. Promise!

I have noticed one more thing... The desi's born in USA have straighter hair than the ones who were born in India....

I guess something to do with the Umreekan water.... or maybe I am just consoling myself 😆

@anchal2: I think I generalized a bit,there but Gujrati's, usually, do have poker straight hair. But, I'm sure even if u have wavy hair, they wont be frizzy since they're thin...mine are thick, if I decided to just wash my hair n walk outta the house..uh oh, I dont even want to imagine the consequences. 😆 Live on frizz-ease & just straighten, since, I got so much on my head, dont mind loosing a few 😳

Ignore my essays..I'm passionate abt shallow stuff like outward appearances...clothes, make-up,hair! 😆
