I have curly to wavy hair but luckily it straightens out quite well when I want it too!

Hey Meena,

thanks for the info about the placenta treatment (it does sound weird and cautious to be using actual placenta on hair though), but it got me searching on the net about this treatment.

Thats how much I know (in case anyone wants to know too):

-its a protein treatment (our hair is already made up of proteins so this treatment is supposed to strengthen the hair at the base I suppose).

-the placenta is derived from animals like sheeps.

-usually, there is no harm to animals in removing the placenta but you can make sure otherwise.

-It softens the hair and brings shine to it.

-there are two kinds of treatment: rinse out and leave in

(you can choose either one).

now, Imma go and find other info/reviews and prices.

Ania - its really not all tht expensive.. same price as most shampoos

Simran - natural dryings the best.. i don't support heating products.. once in a while is okie.. but daily usage is like putting your hair through death every day.. not tht they are alive to begin with..😆

Hair talk? I can feel ya, @simran & @qwww..I have wavy,long,thick hair and I think straightening irons easily top my list of best inventions by mankind. Have tried every kind of treatment from mayonnaise to avocado's n eggs but the gene's that we have inherited are very difficult to alter, at the chromosomal level..realized it and given up 😛

You know guys...if you invest in a really good hair straightener, you can get it pretty darned straight! There are also keratin treatments that some of my friends have used.

@ Meena: yes, the price range is surprisingly low (from $4-35)...

which is actually lower than the brand of shampoo I'm using right now 😳...

I have curly hair too simran, qww, and everyone else tired of curls..lol....but actually I quite like them....used to have straight hair several years ago but now they curl everytime after a shower, but since I don't have much problems when it comes to straightening, I'm okay with them.

I guess the most easy and natural treatment would be to oil your hair once a week atleast.

I think Meena's placenta treatment thrives on the protein quenches protein theory (as --ania-- already stated) but the thought of using placenta is kinda creepy 🤔 Eggs,Mayo basically do the same too..condition hair to get rid of frizz. If you want instant shine, use beer. Anybody tried the "Keratase" treatment? Its called hair smoothing in India n here, ofcourse, its referred to as Keratase treatment..all the celebs have it done..ever wonder how Shilpa's hair went from frizzy to sleek? Ya, so its quenches the lack of keratin (protein our hair's made up with). Heard it is expensive, though 😳

Btw, I think curly/wavy hair is a very common Indian phenotype..perhaps, got it from a common ancestor, unless, one were Gujrati and inherited it from an ancestor who thrived on fish skin like the Asians 😆
