The book is mainly from the guy's point of view, so the actress really doesnt matter much since the main focus will be on SRK. But, they do need a Tamil Brahmin girl to essay the role..

So Vishal is making this now? Dreams pushed back?! I hope so!! Maybe then Deepika can get her dates...I really wanted her to do that film! :(((

Anyways, I think SRK and Vishal working together is AWESOME! But Sajid Nadiawala...errr. Also i haven't been hearing the greatest things about the book. People said Saif was too old for the part and now SRK is playing it..umm.
